About This Project

At Mandailing Estate coffee we are dedicated to working with the local community at every level, we are Indonesian and we have immense pride and hope for our country and this is why we endeavour to always play an active role in not only employing local families but re- investing back into the community for the next generation and beyond.

One third of our plantation  (Approximatley 100 Hectares) has and will be permanently preserved in it’s original state as first generation Sumatran Rainforest for not only the Civet Cats (Luwak) but all other native fauna on our plantantion. In addtion we have recently completed planting over one thousand native Sumatran cedar trees on previoulsy farmed land for re-forestation.
